Worship Experiences

FAEM holds four worship services together each year.  The community is warmly invited.

The Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. is remembered each year by F.A.E.M. in a service that focuses on justice and mercy.  The 2020 observance will be held at noon, January 20, 2020, at “Old South” First Congregational Church UCC (235 Main Street, Farmington).  Speaker: Craigen Healy.

A Community Good Friday Service will not be held this year because of the dangers posed by the covid-19 pandemic.  The community is encouraged to reflect on the life and death of Jesus in preparation for Easter, and to pray for our communities in this difficult time.

The Easter Sunrise Service, sponsored by F.A.E.M. that is typically held at sunrise on Easter morning on Voter Hill has been cancelled this year because of the Governor’s stay-at-home order.  Please pray for our communities and for a speedy end to this pandemic.

The Service of Compassion and Hope will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., hosted by the Fairbanks Union Church, Fairbanks Rd., Farmington.  This is a reflective time of healing for people whose losses make the holidays a hard time.
